The Neville Public Museum

Dinner Program: Becoming a Latino in the United States

22-Feb-2018 Professor Marcelo Cruz from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay addresses how latinos learn to be a “minority group” here in the United States. How do people of Latin American heritage navigate the layers of identity in the United States as they adapt, modify and resist U.S. identity politics. This program is intended to complement the Neville’s exhibit Estamos Aqui.

Each Dinner event will begin with a dinner at 5:00  p.m. in the Neville classrooms followed by a program at 6:00 p.m. in the theater.
