Hardcore History: Are We There Yet?

Eight year old Antonio Saldaña

6:00 p.m.

“Are we there yet?” was a frequent question eight-year-old Antonio Saldaña would ask his parents when traveling the many miles to reach their Wisconsin destination from Texas.   Come and learn why Mexican-Americans from Texas and Mexicans from Mexico were recruited to do stoop labor work in Wisconsin.

Presented by former child stoop laborer (migrant worker) Antonio Saldaña.
