All About
The Neville Public Museum is devoted to bringing educational experiences to school groups, daycare centers, day-camps, special needs students, home-school groups, youth groups and other educational institutions. All of our tours are developed with age appropriate activities. Students benefit by interacting with objects relevant to their daily studies. Teachers benefit by receiving pre/post visit materials and by meeting academic standards.
Visiting Us
Cost for all tours is $2 per person (teacher, student, chaperone, everyone).

Guided Tours are for groups of 10 to 90. Guided tours include an orientation and one or more programs below. With groups of more than 60 or groups that want to plan more than one program teachers are encouraged to contact the Curator of Education to insure that students get the most out their program.
-
Self-guided tours are for groups of less than 10 or more than 90 or for groups that want to study a specific subject (such as Early Wisconsin History) but do not have enough time to complete the regular tour. In all self-guided tours we recommend using scavenger hunts. You may also request a script of the guided tour and distribute this to your teachers and chaperones.

Homeschool groups can sign up for the same programs as school year programs and summer programs. They must have a minimum of 8 people. Once a group has signed up, the museum will also send out an e-mail message to other homeschool groups that they can attend the same program. Cost is $2 per person. If you would like to be added to the homeschool e-mail list contact Matt Welter, Curator of Education.
