Alive in Wood: Bird Carvings by Gary Eigenberger

Sat, May 7, 2011 - Sun, Aug 7, 2011

What You'll See

A collection of 21 bird carvings by award-winning artist, Gary Eigenberger. Carvings that look so real you'll think they're alive, or at least excellent taxidermy mounts!

Exhibit Details

Gary Eigenberger's vivid impressions from namture, combined with his natural sense of design, attention to detail and realism have produced wood sculptures that have been exhibited worldwide. Gary has been featured in many national wildlife art and collecting magazines and won numerous "Best in Show" awards at international competitions. His carvings are found in prestigious private, corporate, and museum collections.

With a love for nature, the outdoors and sculpture, Gary started crafting animals and birds in clay at an early age. The intricate detail and realism of his sculpture will have you staring at each bird carving and wondering, "How did he do that?"
