What You'll See

See what everyone's been talking about! These rare and valuable items from the Brown County Library were recently purchased by the Green Bay-De Pere Antiquarian Society.

Exhibit Details

In December 2007, the Green Bay & De Pere Antiquarian Society purchased this significant collection of historical and artistic objects for over a million dollars. The money was raised by generous contributions from the community and beyond as part of the Society's Save Our Cultural Heritage Campaign.

The collection consists of original art, Middle Eastern rugs, and historic artifacts. It includes an extremely rare, signed photograph of Abraham Lincoln and his son, Tad, from the studio of Mathew Brady.

This is the first time that the entire collection is on public display.
