FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 77th Art Annual Juried Exhibition Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony

Green Bay, WI---October 18, 2022--- The 77th Art Annual exhibit is an all-media, juried exhibition of current artworks produced by artists living in the counties of Northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. A total of 51 artworks by regional artists are represented in is show juried by Jan Mirenda Smith.
 
Please join us for the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony on October 29, 2022, from 1 - 3 pm (Remarks at 2 pm).
 
This juried art exhibition began in 1942 during the height of World War II. For three-quarters of a century, many of this region’s most celebrated and talented artists have exhibited their work as part of this Green Bay tradition.
 
“The works entered in the Neville Public Museum’s Art Annual reflect the broad spectrum of creative endeavors in this northeastern part of Wisconsin. They represented heritage, tradition, an affinity to nature, traditional crafts, strength in varied media, as well as commentary on contemporary culture.” -- Jan Mirenda Smith
