Northeast Wisconsin Art Annual Retrospective Now Open at the Neville Public Museum
Green Bay, WI---September 4, 2014---The 2014 Northeast Wisconsin Art Annual Retrospective is now open at the Neville Public Museum.
In November of 1942, under the direction of Earl G. Wright, the Neville Public Museum inaugurated the Northeast Wisconsin Art Annual. For over seventy years, the Neville has continued this tradition of showcasing the talent of regional artists. This year, the museum reflects on this annual juried art competition and the museum’s historical mission of championing the arts. Original artwork from previous Art Annuals, as well as photographs of the events and participants are on display, as we survey this legacy and its role within the communities of Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The Art Annual Retrospective will run through October 26, 2014.
