Beth Lemke Named Neville Public Museum Director
Green Bay, WI---July 1, 2014---Beth Lemke has been named Director of the Neville Public Museum in a unanimous vote by the Brown County Board.  Beth has been serving as Interim Director since November of 2013.
“I am honored to be appointed as the Neville Public Museum Director,” Beth says. “I believe that as we live in the present we are allowed to review the past to gain understating for our future.  The Neville Public Museum is at a very exciting time as we approach our 100th year.  This is the time to celebrate our collections and our community and share our collective stories.  I hope you will bring your friends and join us at the table for this dialogue.”
Beth holds an MA in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University and a BS in Secondary Education from Indiana University.  She has over 15 years of experience in museums including research and development of interpretive programming and exhibitions, coordination and administration of museum functions, and training and evaluation of staff and services.  Beth also has classroom teaching experience in communications, drama and U.S. History.  She is the only child of two teachers, the wife of a future pharmacist, and mother to two boys.
