Green Bay, WI—January 27, 2020— Since 1995, Brown County students have been challenged to paint, draw, or draft a piece of creative writing celebrating a theme inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This year’s theme is “Envision Change, Act Now.” Exhibiting now at the Neville Public Museum are the award winning works of creative writing and illustration by 23 Kindergarten through 12th grade students from Brown County.
This celebration is organized by Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, St. Norbert College, Green Bay Area Public Schools, Green Bay Police Department, Northeast Wisconsin African American Association, Humana, Bellin Health, as well as community members.
Envision Change. Act Now. 25 Years of Advancing the Dream. is on display through March 1, 2020.
