Explorer Wednesday: UW-Extension Open House

Join us at the Neville Public Museum for Explorer Wednesday: UW Extension Open House!
Green Bay, WI---June 1, 2017---Staff from Brown County UW Extension have relocated to the Neville Public Museum. The Neville now houses Horticulture, 4-H Youth Development, Family Living, FoodWIse and Community Gardens.
Join us this Explorer Wednesday, June 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to meet UW Extension staff and sample their many program offerings!
Outdoor Activities (Weather Dependent)
Love being outdoors? Want to learn about archery? Check out the partnership between Brown County, 4-H Shooting Sports and the Brown County Parks Department that brings youth archery to the County!
The Community Garden Program provides garden plot rental and horticulture education for community members and Master Gardener Volunteers aid the University of Wisconsin Extension staff by helping people in the community better understand horticulture and their environment. Stop by to get your plant questions answered and pick up a free plant while supplies last.
Hop on the blender bike and mix strawberries and ice for a tasty summer treat.
Indoor Activities
Brown County Dairy Promotion Committee promotes agriculture and dairy products in Brown County schools and the community. Try your hand at milking Addie the Dairy Cow and sample great tasting Wisconsin cheese as June is Dairy Month.
Play a round of farm jeopardy, match colors to fruits and vegetables, create a straw rocket, make a duct tape wallet and learn financial management techniques.
