Geology Club - Seymour HS Groundwater Research Team Community Service project

16-Oct-2019

Guest Speaker: Dennis Rohr, Seymour High School

Seymour HS students provided local residents the opportunity to have their drinking water tested for naturally-occurring Arsenic and 22 other metals by partnering with five different local townships and Clean Water Testing of Appleton. A recipient of a 2018 Wisconsin Society of Science Teacher Pella Grant, The SHSGRT wanted to find out if the current WI DNR well casing requirement is effecting at reducing the local residents risk to naturally-occurring arsenic in northern Outagamie County in their drinking water.
