November 3 Il Divo (Italy, 2008)
Winner of the Cannes Jury Prize this biopic recounts the life of Italian politician Giulio Andreotti covering a large portion of his seven terms as prime minister of Italy. It concerns itself with the inner machinations of the man known as “Beelzebub,” and the role of the Mafia in postwar Italy. Sponsored by the Italo-American Society.
Screenings will be free, but due to social distancing requirements, capacity is limited to 65 people. Please plan to arrive by 6:45pm to get a seat. Face coverings are encouraged for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. The Neville Public Museum is working closely with county authorities to maintain proper sanitation and disinfecting.
Screenings begin at 7:00pm. Screenings on the 1st Wednesday of the month will occur in the auditorium of the Neville Public Museum. Screenings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month will be virtual.
All films are free and open to the public and are unrated but intended for a mature audience.
