NPM Astronomical Society Meeting

The Neville Public Museum Astronomical Society (NPMAS) is a fellowship of amateur astronomers. We join together to share learnings, experiences, and the passion we have for astronomy. We nurture and promote this interest through our activities. The foundation of our endeavors is the enjoyment we share.

Meetings are free and open to the public and include society business, an astronomy-related presentation, and an overview of a Deep Sky Object of the Month. - More Information



International Film Series: Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World

Rumble examines the musical contribution and brings to light the profound and overlooked influence of Indigenous people on popular music and the pioneering Native American musicians who helped shape the soundtracks of our lives. Focusing on music icons like Link Wray, Jimi Hendrix, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Taboo (The Black-Eyed Peas), Charley Patton, Mildred Bailey, Jesse Ed Davis, Robbie Robertson, and Randy Castillo, Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World shows how these pioneering Native American musicians helped shape the soundtracks of our lives.

All films are free and open to the public and are unrated but intended for a mature audience. Face coverings are encouraged for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. - More Information
