Curiosity Unveiled
Tuesday, April 21
6:00pm - 7:00pm
Every year, millions of people around the world observe Earth Day, a day meant to bring attention to climate, conservation, and the environment. Gaylord Nelson was a prominent Wisconsin Governor and Senator, and one of the founders of Earth Day.
Join YMCA Fox Cities' Environmental Education Director, Richard Imp, for a presentation that explores how Community Science can help communities feel more connected to the natural world and to the work being done to preserve it. Learn about Nelson's life and work, look at the continued impact of Earth Day, and explore what community science is and how you can get involved to expand Earth Day's mission into your everyday life.
Enjoy an hour-long presentation on the origins of Earth Day.
Curiosity Unveiled is an hour-long guided program that dives deeper into museum exhibits and collections. Programs include guided tours, presentations, demonstrations, or panels on science, history, and art!
Program included with the price of admission. Friends of the Neville get in FREE!
No pre-registration required.
