Community Exhibition Room

The Community Room is an exhibit gallery that allows the Neville to showcase members of our communities collections, projects, and art.
The Community Room was created in response to our community requests to share their personal collections,unique stories, and talents.

Submissions will be accepted between August 2025 - February 28, 2026 for the 2027 exhibition Season.
Up to three exhibits will be chosen total for each year. Chosen individuals for exhibition will be contacted in March 2026.

The submission window for the 2028 exhibit season will begin March 1, 2026 and continue through February 28, 2027 with individuals being notified by the end of March 2027 if they were chosen for display.

How does it work?
Each exhibit will last approximatley 2-3.5 months
Exhibits will be chosen by a three person committee of Neville staff, one board member from the Foundation and one Museum board member.
Choices will be based on the submission proposal, the room requirements, display needs, and the museums mission.

Community Room Specifications
The Community room is approximatley 800sq ft and has a variety of fabric and mesh walls and pedistals availalbe for display.
The room has a track and j-hook display system for wall displays.
The walls may not be nailed into or painted.
A wall hung art exhibit can hold between 25-40 medium sized works of art.
Maximum object height is 8ft. Maximum object width is 6ft.

Exhibit rules
Applicant(s) must be over age 18.
Applicant(s) must reside in Northeast Wisconsin or Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Any art or displays cannot have been displayed at the Neville previously.
The exhibition can be any kind of collection or display, but individuals must curate the shows themselves. They may also be joint shows.
The exhibition cannot alter the Community Room in any way.
Exhibitions must arrive at the museum ready to display.
