Generations Gallery

For over a century this museum has collected and preserved history.  From fossils to footballs, explore our vast collection through a variety of themes and the stories of the people of Northeast Wisconsin in the Generations Gallery.
Spectacular Science

This new science gallery will provide us the opportunity to present four different mini science exhibits with hands on experiences. The four premier sections include Germs, Birds, Bees, and Engineering Marvels.

Spirited: Prohibition in America

Spirited explores the history of Prohibition, from the dawn of the temperance movement to the unprecedented repeal of a constitutional amendment in 1933. This exhibit goes back to this period of flappers and suffragists, bootleggers and temperance lobbyists, and real-life legends, such as Al Capone and Carry Nation.

Beauty of the Beasts: Animal Art

The history of art teems with animals and may indeed have begun with images of beasts painted on the walls and ceilings of caves. Since that time, animals have appeared in the visual arts in everything ranging from decoration to symbols and allegories. This exhibit will share over 120 pieces of animal art from the Neville Collection and highlight fun animal facts.

Life Form

Life Form is an installation by local textile artist Stacey Burkhart. As a "Community Engaged Artist" with TimeSlips, she made weekly phone calls with nine elders in the Green Bay and Wausau areas.
