Since 1995, Brown County and Oneida Nation students have been challenged to paint, draw, or draft a piece of creative writing celebrating a theme inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Organized collaboratively, the Brown County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee seeks to build inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and work towards social justice within the local area and beyond.
The 2024 ‘s celebration exhibition theme was “Bridging Cultures, Celebrating Differences.”
